Data from the Spring Festival Transport Work Special Class of Integrated Transportation shows that on February 16, 2026 (the 15th day of the Spring Festival, the 29th day of the lunar month, Monday), the total interregional population flow in the society was 194.112 million person-times, a decrease of 32.2% from the previous period, and a 5% decrease compared to the same period in 2025 (Tuesday). Specifically, railway passenger traffic was 6.932 million person-times, a decrease of 49.8% from the previous period, and a 10.7% decrease compared to the same period in 2025. Road passenger flow (including non-commercial small passenger car travel on expressways and ordinary national and provincial roads, as well as commercial passenger traffic on roads) was 184.59 million person-times, a decrease of 31.5% from the previous period, and a 4.9% decrease compared to the same period in 2025. Among them, commercial passenger traffic on roads was 18.41 million person-times, a decrease of 52.1% from the previous period, and a 19.9% increase compared to the same period in 2025; non-commercial small passenger car travel on expressways and ordinary national and provincial roads was 166.18 million person-times, a decrease of 28% from the previous period, and a 7.1% decrease compared to the same period in 2025. Waterway passenger traffic was 664,000 person-times, a decrease of 27.8% from the previous period, and a 13% increase compared to the same period in 2025. Civil aviation passenger traffic was 1.927 million person-times, a decrease of 18.7% from the previous period, and a 4.3% increase compared to the same period in 2025.
