The spokesperson for the Ministry of Commerce answered questions from reporters about the ruling on the ASML semiconductor case announced by the Dutch government.
On February 11th, the Dutch Enterprise Chamber announced the ruling on the ASML case, deciding to conduct an investigation into ASML's alleged mismanagement. In response, on February 13th, a spokesperson for the Ministry of Commerce stated that China has taken note of the relevant information. We believe that the most urgent task is to restore the stable and smooth operation of the global semiconductor supply chain, which is a common interest of the international community, including China and the Netherlands. We hope that the Dutch side will work towards this goal, and from the perspective of maintaining the stability of the global semiconductor industry supply chain, create favorable conditions for constructive resolution of internal disputes between the two companies.
