Inter-ministerial Joint Office for Coordinated Supervision of New Business Formats in Transportation and Transport Conduct Meeting with Didi Chuxing

Recently, the Office of the Inter-Ministerial Joint Meeting for the Collaborative Supervision of New Transportation Business Models organized a talk with Didi Chuxing. The talk pointed out prominent issues such as Didi Chuxing's inadequate management of collaborative ride-hailing platforms, lowering of fares, and improper emergency response. The requirements of the talk include: 1. Strengthening supervision of collaborative ride-hailing platforms. Further improve the corporate decision-making mechanism, strengthen aggregated service management, urge collaborative platforms to maintain relatively stable business strategies, enhance monitoring and warning of price and income abnormalities, and implement the commitment to reduce commissions openly to ensure drivers' reasonable income. 2. Regulating platform business operations. Strengthen the audit management of access to ride-hailing platforms, vehicles, and drivers, and continuously enhance compliance levels. Strengthen monitoring of order sources to prevent multilayer reselling and commissions. 3. Protecting drivers' legitimate rights and interests. Provide channels for expressing grievances, respond promptly to drivers' various demands and issues, implement the responsibility for first inquiry and advance compensation in accordance with the law. 4. Strengthening operational safety supervision. Strengthen traffic safety management, educate and guide industry personnel on safe and lawful driving, enhance drivers' safety driving and emergency response capabilities, and ensure safety during the Spring Festival transportation and service guarantee work. 5. Enhancing care for drivers. Jointly carry out "warmth delivery" activities, continuously improve service guarantee measures, strengthen care for drivers during the Spring Festival travel season, and continuously improve working conditions and employment environment.
