However, Amazon's funding may benefit multiple companies, among which Maiver Technology is one of the potential beneficiaries, is currently producing Trainium processors for Amazon.
Just one day after Alphabet (GOOGL.US) announced that its capital expenditures for 2026 would reach between $175 billion and $185 billion, Amazon.com, Inc. (AMZN.US) immediately revealed that its capital expenditures for 2026 would soar to $200 billion. This number far exceeds Wall Street's previous general expectation of $150 billion, causing a strong market shock. Amazon.com, Inc. CEO Andy Jassy highlighted that the company's existing product demand remains strong, while there are "pioneering opportunities" in cutting-edge areas such as artificial intelligence, semiconductors, Siasun Robot & Automation technology, and low-orbit satellites. Although management tried to alleviate investor concerns about high capital expenditures by emphasizing a "strong long-term capital return rate," the stock price still plummeted by over 8% in pre-market trading on Friday. However, Amazon.com, Inc.'s capital flow may benefit multiple companies, including Marvell Technology, Inc. (MRVL.US), which is one of the potential beneficiaries and is producing Trainium processors for Amazon.com, Inc. During the earnings conference call, when asked about the progress of the "Rainier project" and the deployment of 500,000 Trainium chips in cooperation with Anthropic, CEO Andy Jassy clearly stated that this number will continue to grow. In pre-market trading on Friday, Marvell Technology, Inc. saw its stock price rise over 3%. AT&T (T.US) is also poised to benefit, as the two companies had entered into a deep cooperation earlier this week. According to the announcement, the Dallas-based telecom giant will leverage Amazon.com, Inc.'s Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite internet service to provide stable network connectivity for customers in signal blind spots within the U.S. Additionally, this agreement will connect the data centers owned by Amazon.com, Inc.'s network services company to high-capacity fiber optics. Other potential beneficiaries include NVIDIA Corporation (NVDA.US) and AMD (AMD.US), as Amazon.com, Inc. has established deep cooperative relationships with these two semiconductor giants and will use their chip products to meet the computing power needs in cloud computing and artificial intelligence fields. As of the time of writing, both NVIDIA Corporation and AMD had risen by over 3% in pre-market trading on Friday.
