In January, Hongteng Precision's revenue increased by 35.5%, indicating a strong demand for NVIDIA Corporation (NVDA.US) servers amid the global wave of artificial intelligence development. Hongteng Precision reported last month's revenue at 73 billion New Taiwan Dollars (approximately 2.3 billion US dollars). However, the comparison base for the same period last year may have been affected by the time of the Lunar New Year holiday, as the Lunar New Year in 2025 falls in January. It is predicted that the company's sales in the three months ending in March will increase by 28%. Hon Hai is responsible for manufacturing servers that house chips in data centers, making it a key player in the artificial intelligence hardware industry centered around NVIDIA Corporation. Despite warnings of oversupply due to uncertainties in monetizing this technology, U.S. companies including Meta and Amazon.com, Inc. (AMZN, US) are still investing billions of dollars in deploying equipment for training and operating artificial intelligence, benefiting Hon Hai in the process.
