According to the disclosure by the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on January 26, Changzhou Xingyu Automotive Lighting Systems Limited (referred to as Changzhou Xingyu Automotive Lighting Systems (601799.SH)) has submitted an application for listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange Main Board, with Huatai International as the sole sponsor.
The prospectus shows that based on 2024 sales revenue, Changzhou Xingyu Automotive Lighting Systems is the largest automotive lighting products provider in China and a global leader. As of the last practicable date, the company has established cooperative relationships with nine of the top ten global automakers (based on group-level sales in 2024). According to Frost & Sullivan data, based on 2024 sales revenue, the company's overall market share in the Chinese and global automotive lighting markets is 11.0% and 4.2% respectively, ranking first in China and seventh globally.
In the area of front-end lighting market for passenger cars with a retail price above 200,000 RMB, the company has stronger market competitiveness and higher market share. Based on 2024 sales revenue, the company's market share in this area in the Chinese market is 22.1%, ranking first. Based on 2024 sales revenue, the company ranks first in both the global and Chinese intelligent car lighting markets, with a market share of up to 70.2% in the Chinese market, significantly ahead of other market participants.
