Amazon.com, Inc. (AMZN.US) will release its fourth quarter financial report for the fiscal year 2025 on February 5, 2026, after the US market closes on Thursday. Analysts at BNP Paribas in France pointed out that Amazon.com, Inc.'s performance in the fourth quarter will exceed market expectations, driven mainly by strong growth in its cloud computing department AWS (Amazon Web Services) and Generative AI business. Nick Jones, an analyst at BNP Paribas in Paris, stated in a report to clients: "We are closely monitoring the growth of Amazon.com, Inc.'s web services (AWS) and its competitive position with Microsoft Corporation's Azure and Alphabet Inc. Class C in the cloud market. We are also focusing on its capital expenditure strength and its impact on profit margins. Additionally, we are watching the ongoing investments by AWS in cloud computing, artificial intelligence, logistics, groceries, and the possible effects on profit margins. Furthermore, we are observing the trends in Amazon.com, Inc.'s e-commerce and advertising businesses." Jones has set a target price of $320 for Amazon.com, Inc. He anticipated that Amazon.com, Inc.'s web services (AWS) will achieve a year-on-year growth rate of 22% to 23%, exceeding the market's expectation of 21%, and the expansion into the artificial intelligence sector will be one of the key factors driving its growth. Jones further added: "In our view, Amazon.com, Inc. is in a favorable position in its core business areas in the fourth quarter of 2025 and is expected to deliver strong performance. Given the clear trend in the demand for artificial intelligence, we are not surprised by the strong performance of AWS, and we also expect the robust growth in its advertising business, as we believe this business is still in the relatively early stages of development. Overall, Amazon.com, Inc. remains one of our top investment choices for 2026."
