From "chatting dialogue" to entering the "AI era of handling affairs", Alibaba (09988) launched more than 400 functional affairs on its Thousand Questions App.

On January 15th, Alibaba's (09988) Qianwen App launched more than 400 service functions, officially entering the "AI service era" from "chat dialogue". Based on the strongest Qwen model and Alibaba's most abundant ecosystem, Qianwen App integrates Alibaba's ecosystem businesses such as Taobao, Alipay, Taobao Flash Sale, Fliggy, and Amap, achieving for the first time in the world AI shopping functions such as ordering takeout, shopping, booking flights, and hotels, and opening testing to all users. Wu Jia, President of Qianwen's C-end business group, said, "After AI possessed a super powerful brain, it has begun to develop hands and feet that can reach the real world, actually replacing users to 'work' in their lives." Qianwen App officially launched for public testing on November 17th last year, built on the world's first open-source model, Tangyi Qianwen Qwen. Currently, Alibaba has established the Qianwen C-end business group, led by Group Vice President Wu Jia. On December 10, 2025, Alibaba announced that since the public testing on November 17th, in just 23 days, the monthly active users of Qianwen (including APP, Web, PC end) has exceeded 30 million, becoming the fastest-growing AI application worldwide.
