Kientao Accumulated Layer Plate (01888) rose nearly 6% in mid-trading, up 4.25% at the time of publication, at HKD 12.99, with a turnover of HKD 165 million.

On the news front, in December 2025, due to the rise in copper prices and the tight supply of glass cloth, leading copper foil substrate company Jian Tao sent a price increase notice to its customers. The company stated that it is difficult to absorb the increase in raw material costs, and therefore the prices of new orders will be raised by 10%. It is worth noting that this is the third price increase initiated by Jian Tao since the second half of 2025. CMSC believes that "price hikes" will become the main theme in the CCL industry in 2025-2026.
Sinolink released a research report stating that strong demand for AI is driving the price and volume increase of PCBs. Currently, many AI-PCB companies have strong orders, are operating at full capacity, and are actively expanding production. It is expected that high growth in performance in the fourth quarter and next year will continue. Demand for AI copper-clad laminates is also strong, and as overseas production of copper-clad laminates is slow to expand, mainland copper-clad laminate industry leaders are expected to benefit actively.
