On January 14th, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology Equipment Industry Department, the National Development and Reform Commission Industry Development Department, and the State Administration for Market Regulation Price Supervision and Anti-Unfair Competition Bureau (referred to as the three departments) jointly held a symposium for enterprises in the new energy vehicle industry to deploy related work to regulate the competition order in the new energy vehicle industry. The meeting emphasized the need to thoroughly implement the decision-making arrangements of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, adhere to innovation-driven principles and prioritize quality, resolutely resist disorderly "price wars," and promote the establishment of a market order characterized by high quality, fair competition, and reasonable prices. The three departments will further enhance work coordination, strengthen cost investigations and price monitoring, increase supervision and enforcement efforts, strengthen product production consistency supervision checks, and severely deal with violating companies in accordance with the law to maintain a fair and orderly market environment and promote the high-quality development of the automotive industry.
