Merdeka Gold is a subsidiary of Indonesian mining company Merdeka Copper Gold, which listed on the Indonesian stock exchange in September last year.
According to reports, Indonesia-listed Merdeka Gold Resources is considering a secondary listing in Hong Kong as early as this year, with plans to raise $200 to $300 million. Merdeka Gold is a subsidiary of Indonesian mining company Merdeka Copper Gold, which went public in Indonesia in September last year, raising 47 trillion Indonesian Rupiah (approximately $2.7 billion), making it the largest IPO in the country.
Merdeka Gold's core asset is the Pani gold mine on the island of Sulawesi in Indonesia, with an ore reserve of approximately 190 million tons and containing about 4.8 million ounces of gold. The resource potential exceeds 7 million ounces, making it one of the largest gold mines in Indonesia.
