Wah Jia Holdings Limited (00704) issued an announcement regarding the company's receipt of a liquidation request from China Cinda (Hong Kong) Asset Management Limited. On January 12, 2026, the company entered into a supplemental agreement, share pledge agreement, pledge and arrangement deed, and third-party custody agreement with China Cinda (Hong Kong) Asset Management Limited (Cinda Hong Kong) and/or its subsidiaries. According to this, Cinda Hong Kong agreed to settle the request through a compromise. Cinda Hong Kong agreed for the company to pledge the shares of its subsidiaries and receivables as collateral under the supplemental agreement, and extend the Cinda loan by 2 years from the effective date of the supplemental agreement.

On January 12, 2026, the company entered into a supplementary agreement, share pledge agreement, memorandum of deposit and arrangement, and third-party custody agreement with CHINA CINDA (Hong Kong) Asset Management Limited (Cinda Hong Kong) and/or its subsidiaries. In accordance with this, Cinda Hong Kong agreed to reach a settlement on the petition, and agreed to accept the company's subsidiary's share pledge and receivables as collateral under the supplementary agreement, extending the Cinda loan by 2 years from the effective date of the supplementary agreement.
These agreements have been signed, and Cinda Hong Kong confirmed today that they have withdrawn the winding-up petition from the High Court of Hong Kong.
