Boreton (01333) announced that on January 9, 2026, the company's indirect subsidiary, Galaxy Energy, as the contractor, entered into a general construction and installation contract for the Dizva Smart Microgrid (Light Storage) Project with Wu Huang Company. According to this, Wu Huang Company will be responsible for the construction and installation work of this project under the contract, with a total contract price of 14.939 million US dollars.
BRETON (01333) announced that on January 9, 2026, its indirect subsidiary Galaxy Energy, as the employer, entered into a general contracting agreement with Wu Huang Company, as the contractor, for the construction and installation of the Dizwa Smart Microgrid (Solar Storage) project. Wu Huang Company will be responsible for the construction and installation work of this project, with a total contract price of 14.939 million US dollars. This project is the first large-scale smart microgrid benchmark project invested and built by the company in the Republic of the Congo (Kinshasa). According to the company's announcement on November 24, 2025 regarding the general authorization for the distribution of new H shares, where the reasons for the distribution and the use of the funds raised are disclosed, approximately 70% of the distribution funds (approximately 168 million Hong Kong dollars) will be used to invest in overseas photovoltaic and energy storage projects, in order to promote the implementation of the company's "solar storage + transportation" integrated strategy. This project is a specific implementation of the use of funds and strategic direction, aimed at enhancing the group's overall solution capabilities in the field of new energy mining, and its successful implementation holds important strategic significance for the company's expansion into overseas new energy markets and optimization of business layout. The group has established a strategic partnership with China 15 Metallurgical Construction Group Ltd. (the sole shareholder of Wu Huang Company) and successfully won this project in a consortium form.
