On January 9th, Hang Seng Indexes Company announced the launch of three new indices: the Hang Seng Dual-Tech Index, the Hang Seng Hong Kong Stock Connect Internet Technology Industry Index, and the Hang Seng Hong Kong Stock Connect Non-Bank Financial Index.
On January 9th, Hang Seng Index Company announced the launch of three new indices, namely the Hang Seng Dual Technology Index, the Hang Seng Stock Connect Internet Technology Industry Index, and the Hang Seng Stock Connect Non-Bank Financial Index. The new indices are calculated every two seconds and published in real time.
Hang Seng Dual Technology Index: This index reflects the overall performance of technology and biotechnology companies listed in Hong Kong. The index combines components of the Hang Seng Technology Index and the Hang Seng Biotechnology Index in fixed proportions, providing diversified investment strategies and futures trading tools through an established ecosystem.
Hang Seng Stock Connect Internet Technology Industry Index: This index reflects the performance of Hong Kong-listed companies that can be traded through the Stock Connect platform and mainly engage in internet or information technology-related businesses.
Hang Seng Stock Connect Non-Bank Financial Index: This index reflects the performance of Hong Kong-listed companies in the financial industry (excluding banks) that can be traded through the Stock Connect platform.
