The existing residential property index (204.2) decreased by 0.1%, while the new residential property index (237.1) increased by 0.5%.

The existing home index (204.2) decreased by 0.1%, while the new home index (237.1) increased by 0.5%.
In terms of existing homes, the Macao Peninsula (194.6) saw a decrease of 0.3%, while the Taipa area (243.5) recorded a 0.5% increase. By age of building, the residential building price index for buildings aged 11 to 20 years and 5 years or less decreased by 1.4% and 0.2% respectively, while those aged 6 to 10 years increased by 1.4%.
In terms of unit usable area, the building price index for units of 100 square meters and above decreased by 1.2%, while those between 75 and 99.9 square meters increased by 0.8%.
Compared to the same period last year, the overall residential building price index decreased by 7.2%, with the indices for the Macao Peninsula (190.2) and the Taipa area (198.2) experiencing decreases of 5.3% and 13.5% respectively.
