HKEX's derivatives market had a daily average trading volume of 1,662,751 contracts last year, an increase of 7% compared to the previous year and reaching a record high. Among them, stock options (including monthly and weekly expiry contracts) are one of the most actively traded products, with a record high daily average trading volume of 879,831 contracts last year, an increase of 22% compared to the previous year.
