Domestic intelligent driving suppliers in China have accumulated sufficient research and development, and large-scale production experience in the Chinese market, and are expected to accelerate their entry into the global market through the ecosystem of Nvidia (NVDA.US).
CICC released a research report stating that at this week's CES exhibition, NVIDIA Corporation (NVDA.US) announced that the global DRIVE Hyperion ecosystem is expanding, with the inclusion of many tier-one suppliers and sensor partners including Bosch and HESAI-W (02525). The DRIVE Hyperion platform created by NVIDIA Corporation integrates computing, sensors, and security functions with the goal of pushing the automotive manufacturers and autonomous driving software ecosystem towards mass production. Domestic intelligent driving suppliers have accumulated sufficient R&D and scale production experience in the Chinese market, and are expected to accelerate their entry into the global market through NVIDIA Corporation's ecosystem. Main points from CICC: NVIDIA Corporation is expanding its intelligent driving cooperation circle, and domestic leading intelligent driving suppliers are seizing the opportunity to go global. The DRIVE Hyperion platform created by NVIDIA Corporation integrates computing, sensors, and security functions with the goal of pushing the automotive manufacturers and autonomous driving software ecosystem towards mass production. The partners of the open production architecture of DRIVE Hyperion cover various aspects of intelligent driving such as perception, decision-making, and execution layers, with Chinese tier-one suppliers Huizhou Desay SV Automotive and HESAI-W (02525) both being partners certified for this platform. Domestic intelligent driving suppliers have accumulated sufficient R&D and scale production experience in the Chinese market, and are expected to accelerate their entry into the global market through NVIDIA Corporation's ecosystem. The pace of global intelligent driving development is accelerating, with leading companies both domestic and international speeding up their layouts in the intelligent driving field. At the CES exhibition, NVIDIA Corporation launched the open-source VLA AI algorithm Alpamayo, and planned to launch L4 level Robotaxi in 2027. Tesla, Inc. initiated the commercial operation of Robotaxi in cities such as Austin in the second half of 2025 and plans to mass-produce Cybercab in 2026. Pony.ai has deployed over a thousand Robotaxi fleet, WeRide is focusing on the Middle East market, and is gradually moving towards single-car profit and loss balance in Abu Dhabi. With overseas companies such as NVIDIA Corporation, Tesla, Inc. (TSLA.US), and domestic companies like PONY-W (02026), WERIDE-W (00800), XPENG-W (09868) accelerating their layouts in autonomous driving, the global intelligent driving is expected to further open up growth space. Domestic advanced intelligent driving has passed the inflection point of penetration rate, and is optimistic about the leading position of domestic intelligent driving companies in various aspects of the global market. CICC believes that as the penetration rate of advanced intelligent driving continues to increase, it will drive the development of the intelligent driving industry chain. With the expected increase in penetration rate of L3 and L4 level intelligent driving, the value of single-car matching of intelligent driving software and hardware is expected to increase. Coupled with head suppliers accelerating entry into overseas markets, leading companies in various aspects of intelligent driving in China are expected to usher in a cycle of quantity and price rise. Risk factors: The development of intelligent driving technology may not meet expectations, the risk of intensified industry competition, and the risk of policy changes.
