In 2025, the number of inbound tourists in Macau exceeded 40 million, reaching a record high.

The latest data released by the Macao Special Administrative Region Government Security Police Department on January 3 showed that the total number of passengers passing through various ports in Macao in 2025 reached approximately 235 million, an annual increase of 9.8%, reaching a historic high. Among them, Macao residents accounted for 36.4%, out-of-town employees accounted for 26.1%, and visitors to Macao accounted for 33.9%, reaching approximately 40.06 million person-times, breaking the historical record. In terms of ports, the Macao Gongbei Port is the most popular port, accounting for 52.7% of the total number of passengers, followed by Qingmao Port at 15.4% and Hengqin Port at 12.9%.
