On December 26, the National Energy Administration held a symposium on the construction of high-quality charging infrastructure system in 2025. The meeting emphasized the need to solidly promote the "three-year doubling" action plan for the service capacity of electric vehicle charging facilities by improving facilities, enhancing services, and strengthening safety, and to accelerate the construction of a high-quality charging infrastructure system. Improvements in the service network of charging infrastructure, increase in the coverage of charging facilities in key areas such as residential areas and rural areas, optimization of the efficiency of charging infrastructure services, promotion of the planning and construction of high-power charging facilities, and enhancement of the quality of charging operation services to effectively safeguard consumer rights. The meeting also called for the faster development of a healthy and upward industrial ecosystem, deepening the application of vehicle-network interaction on a large scale, and strengthening the safety management of charging infrastructure to prevent and resolve safety risks in the charging field.
