On December 26th, according to the National Bureau of Statistics, the annual GDP calculation in China includes two steps: preliminary calculation and final verification, in accordance with the regulations on the calculation and publication of GDP. Recently, based on the statistical annual reports of the National Bureau of Statistics, the financial settlement of the Ministry of Finance, and other annual financial data from relevant departments, the National Bureau of Statistics has conducted a final verification of the 2024 GDP data. The main results are as follows: after final verification, the total GDP at current prices in 2024 was 1348066 billion yuan, a decrease of 1018 billion yuan compared to the preliminary calculation; calculated at constant prices, it grew by 5.0% compared to the previous year, remaining consistent with the preliminary calculation.
