Huadian Longkou Phase IV Project has completed the construction and operation of two 660,000-kilowatt ultra-supercritical units.

HUADIAN POWER (01071) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Huadian Longkou Power Generation Co., Ltd., has recently successfully completed the full-load trial operation of the second unit of the Huadian Longkou Phase IV 266 MW cogeneration project (hereinafter referred to as the "Huadian Longkou Phase IV Project"), and officially put it into commercial operation. With this, both 66 MW ultra-supercritical units of the Huadian Longkou Phase IV Project have been completed and put into operation, injecting new momentum into the energy security and green low-carbon development of the region. The Huadian Longkou Phase IV Project successfully achieved the "Ten First Successful" key milestones, such as boiler hydrostatic test, power receiving, boiler ignition, turbine start-up, and grid connection. The project adheres to green low-carbon development and integrates multiple advanced technologies in the newly commissioned units, using ultra-supercritical high-efficiency cogeneration technology. The comprehensive energy consumption of the units reaches the excellent level of 60 MW-grade cogeneration units in China, effectively improving the stability of the Shandong power grid, as well as the local capacity for residential heating and industrial steam supply. The full operation of the Huadian Longkou Phase IV Project is a concrete action of the company to implement the new energy security strategy, support the economic and social development of the Shandong region, and achieve important results in deepening reform and innovation, and promoting green development.
