HAICHANG HLDG (02255) signs a strategic cooperation memorandum with Henan Provincial Science and Technology Museum.

HAICHANG HLDG (02255) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Zhengzhou HAICHANG HLDG (Zhengzhou Park) has signed a non-binding strategic cooperation memorandum with the Henan Provincial Science and Technology Museum. According to the memorandum, both parties will collaborate in areas such as cross-venue exhibitions, co-creation of popular science content and courses, joint thematic events, resource sharing and complementarity, and joint brand promotion. The aim is to create a benchmark project of "popular science + cultural tourism" in the Central Plains region, deeply integrating marine cultural tourism experiences with science popularization education; building a sustainable "scenario + content" collaborative model to provide the public with an integrated experience of "entertainment through learning, learning through immersion", especially catering to the diverse needs of families with children; and explore operational models that integrate popular science with cultural tourism, setting an example of industry innovation. The board of directors believes that in response to Henan Province's strategy of integrating cultural tourism and creative industries, as well as national policies promoting cultural and tourism consumption, the Henan Provincial Science and Technology Museum, as the main base for popular science education in the province, is committed to popularizing scientific knowledge and spreading scientific ideas; while Zhengzhou Park, as a large-scale marine-themed cultural tourism landmark in the Central Plains region, focuses on the dissemination of marine culture and popular science about marine animals. Both parties have unique complementary resources, and through mutual empowerment of the "popular science supply side" and the "cultural tourism demand side", they aim to create a new ecosystem of "popular science + cultural tourism" and contribute positively to the integrated development of cultural tourism in the Henan Province region.
