US solar energy stocks are strong.
On Monday, the solar energy sector of the US stock market showed strength, with Sunrun (RUN.US) rising by over 3.5%, CSI Solar Co., Ltd. CECEP Solar Energy (CSIQ.US) rising by over 8.5%, Jinko Solar (JKS.US) rising by 0.44%, Array Technologies (ARRY.US) rising by over 4%, and Enphase Energy (ENPH.US) rising by 0.36%. In terms of news, a report from Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. pointed out that the solar energy sector is currently facing a structural investment window. Despite being under pressure at the beginning of 2025 due to policy expectations, the surge in electricity demand from data centers is reshaping the growth logic of the US power grid.
The report highlights that solar energy has become a core force in the transformation of the US power structure, and is expected to account for approximately 54% of new generation capacity additions by 2025. With the continuous and unexpected growth in electricity demand from data centers, Clean Energy Fuels Corp., which has the dual advantages of cost and deployment speed, will directly benefit from this long-term demand driver.
