CHINA CHENGTONG (00217) subsidiary enters into after-sales leaseback agreement with Zhuji City Transportation and Logistics.

CHINA CHENGTONG (00217) announced that on December 22, 2025, Chengtong Financing Lease Co., Ltd. (Chengtong Financing Lease, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company indirectly) entered into a sale and leaseback agreement with lessee Zhuji City Transportation Logistics Co., Ltd. According to this agreement, Chengtong Financing Lease will purchase lease assets from the lessee and then lease them back to the lessee for a period of 3 years, with the option to terminate early based on the terms and conditions of the sale and leaseback agreement. The purchase price of the lease assets was agreed upon by Chengtong Financing Lease and the lessee based on the valuation by a valuer on November 15, 2025, using market value evaluation method, with an estimated value of approximately RMB 347 million (equivalent to approximately HK$379 million). The total estimated lease payments for the lease period is approximately RMB 319 million (equivalent to approximately HK$348 million), which the lessee is required to pay to Chengtong Financing Lease in 12 quarterly installments. The total lease payments include the lease principal (the purchase price amount paid by Chengtong Financing Lease) and estimated lease interest of approximately RMB 19.08 million (equivalent to approximately HK$20.8 million). The lease assets include intelligent clearance checkpoint facilities and customs inspection and quarantine equipment.
