On the news front, according to Securities Times, recently, Wang Haojun, co-founder and CFO of Pony.ai, revealed in an interview that the company has achieved profitability per vehicle in Guangzhou based on the scale deployment of the seventh-generation Robotaxi. The daily revenue per vehicle has reached 299 yuan, and the fleet size is expected to exceed 1000 vehicles by the end of 2025, with a target of expanding to 3000 vehicles by 2026, and a long-term plan to reach an operating scale of 100,000 vehicles by 2030. At the same time, Pony.ai has officially launched a light asset cooperation model, working with global partners in multiple locations to accelerate the commercialization of autonomous driving and make the crucial leap from "technology verification" to "scale profitability". The core support for achieving per vehicle profitability in the Guangzhou market this time comes from the technological breakthrough and cost optimization of the seventh-generation Robotaxi. This model was unveiled at the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show, with the cost of the autonomous driving kit reduced by over 70% compared to the previous generation. Through deep cooperation with Guangqi, Beiqi, and GAC Toyota, Pony.ai has achieved cross-model adaptability of the technology solutions. Currently, two models of the seventh generation have been put into production, and the third model will be launched at the end of 2025 or early 2026. All three models share a unified autonomous driving kit, including radar, cameras, and L4-level software system with the same configuration, ensuring consistent driving capabilities.
