The report pointed out that hollow-core optical fibers have advantages such as low latency, wide spectrum, low loss, and low nonlinear effects, making it a disruptive solution to traditional optical fiber physical bottlenecks. At the current stage, hollow-core optical fibers are in a critical window of rapid iterative evolution. Huaxi believes that hollow-core optical fibers are still in the early stage of commercialization, but their low latency, wide spectrum, low loss, and other characteristics are expected to gradually gain traction in AI large-scale model connection applications, highlighting their multiple potential values, including obvious advantages in internal interconnection, urban data center interconnection, and wide-area interconnection. Public information shows that YOFC, on the basis of its traditional optical rod fiber business, has developed high value-added products such as multimode and hollow-core optical fibers, while actively diversifying. The company recently announced that it will issue 70 million new H shares, with net proceeds of approximately 2.229 billion Hong Kong dollars. According to the announcement, about 80% of the proceeds will be used for the development of the company's overseas business, and about 20% will be used for general operating funds.
