On December 18th, Hang Seng Index Company announced the launch of the Hang Seng Stock Connect Electronic Owners Theme Index. The number of stock connect sample stocks is fixed at 40, representing the top 40 stocks by market capitalization, with weights evaluated every half year and adjusted quarterly. It also serves as an investment and analysis tool for mainland investors focusing on top electronic sectors. It is reported that the index components include companies such as TCL ELECTRONICS, SKYWORTH GROUP, Xiaomi-W, Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation, LENOVO GROUP, HUA HONG SEMI, BYD ELECTRONIC, ZTE Corporation, LEGENDHOLDING, and AAC TECH.
