On December 19, China Railway announced that from January to November this year, the national railway has transported a total of 3.727 billion tons of goods, an increase of 2.7% compared to the same period last year. The daily average of cars loaded is 187,000, an increase of 3.7% year-on-year. The advantage of "China Railway Logistics" is becoming more prominent, providing strong support for reducing the overall social logistics costs and ensuring the smooth operation of the national economy. Since the beginning of this year, the railway department has earnestly implemented the deployment requirements of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, accelerated the construction of the modern railway logistics system, continuously optimized product supply, and improved the functionality of the railway's 95306 freight platform. The advantage of "China Railway Logistics" is becoming more prominent, and the market competitiveness and brand value continue to increase. First, the supply of logistics products is precise and efficient. In close connection with market demand, actively integrating into the enterprise supply chain, vigorously developing bulk direct trains, intercity fast trains, specialized and new professional logistics trains, and cold chain logistics trains, providing customized services to meet diversified transportation needs. In coordination with leading cotton enterprises, special cotton trains were organized, and from January to November, the national railway has shipped 1.064 million tons of cotton, an increase of 31.8% year-on-year. By continuously optimizing end-to-end logistics products, promoting multimodal transport development, and from January to November, the national railway has transported 15.789 million standard containers of iron-water intermodal goods, an increase of 15.4% year-on-year, with a total of 34,000 standard containers booked for iron-water intermodal "one-stop" logistics products. Second, the quality of logistics services continues to improve. Development of logistics total package services, with a total of 1.4 billion tons of logistics total package contracts signed. The China Railway Network Freight Logistics Platform has been widely promoted to individual truck drivers and car transport companies participating in public-private rail transport operations. With 178,000 vehicles registered, providing end-to-end pickup and delivery services for customers, making the entire logistics process more convenient and efficient. Actively promoting logistics financial services such as railway freight loans, letter of credit settlement, document financing, and freight certificates, customers have received a total credit amount of approximately 24.8 billion yuan, effectively supporting the development of the real economy. Third, cross-border freight transport is smooth and stable. Strengthening communication and coordination with domestic customs departments and foreign railway departments to improve port transportation efficiency, releasing the fourth batch of full-time schedules for China-Europe trains, increasing the number of China-Europe train routes to 17, with 22 trains running weekly to ensure the safety, efficiency, and stability of cross-border freight transport. From January to November, China-Europe (Asia) trains have operated 31,200 trains, an increase of 9.0% year-on-year, with 1,852 trains running in November, an increase of 21% year-on-year, reaching a historical high monthly operation volume. The cross-border freight trains on the China-Laos Railway have transported 4.98 million tons of goods, an increase of 15% year-on-year; the Western Land and Sea New Channel trains have transported 1.31 million standard containers, an increase of 55% year-on-year, effectively promoting international trade exchanges. Fourth, effective guarantee of key material transportation. Strengthening the transport capacity guarantee for key national material supplies to ensure smooth transportation. From January to November, the national railway's transport volume of smelting materials and grains increased by 8.5% and 10.0% year-on-year, respectively. In response to the recent cold wave and strong wind cooling weather in some parts of China, careful organization of coal supply transportation has been carried out to actively support peak winter periods in various regions. By the end of November, the coal storage levels at power plants across the country remained at a relatively high level, and power plants with coal storage below 15 days achieved dynamic clearance.
