On December 18, Hang Seng Indexes Company launched the Hang Seng Hong Kong Stock Connect Electronic Theme Index. This index reflects the performance of Hong Kong-listed companies in the electronic industry that can be traded through the Stock Connect program, including semiconductor and basic electronic components, telecommunications equipment and parts, information technology equipment and parts, audio-visual equipment and parts. The new index will be calculated every two seconds and published in real-time.
