Nebius launched version 3.1 of its AI cloud platform featuring Nvidia's Blackwell Ultra technology.
Dutch artificial intelligence infrastructure provider Nebius (NBIS.US) has launched Nebius AI Cloud 3.1, which introduces the next generation NVIDIA Corporation's Blackwell Ultra computing technology and enhanced operational capabilities into its latest full-stack artificial intelligence cloud platform. The company stated that Nvidia's HGX B300 and GB300 NVL72 systems (equipped with 800 Gbps Nvidia Quantum-X800 InfiniBand) can provide next-generation performance for large-scale artificial intelligence training and inference. Nebius pointed out that the company is deploying NVIDIA Corporation's Blackwell Ultra infrastructure globally, with NVIDIA Corporation GB300 NVL72 systems and HGX B300 systems already available for customers. Nebius also stated that the company is now the first cloud service provider in Europe to run both platforms simultaneously in a production environment. Nebius' AI cloud platform is also the first in the world to utilize 800 Gbps Nvidia Quantum-X800 InfiniBand interconnect technology to run GB300 NVL72 systems, doubling the throughput of distributed workloads. The company noted that version 3.1 introduces Capacity Blocks and real-time Capacity Dashboard to meet the enterprise's needs for operational transparency, allowing customers to understand their reserved GPU capacity and availability in all data center regions. Nebius added that version 3.1 is built on the Nebius AI cloud "Aether," enhancing transparent capacity management features and expanded infrastructure to provide customers with the operational visibility and resource planning capabilities needed to expand artificial intelligence applications in production environments. In addition, Nebius stated that Aether 3.1 also offers enhanced AI/ML development tools, expanded ecosystem integration, and fine-grained enterprise governance controls to accelerate value realization speed while reducing risk. Nebius' competitor CoreWeave (CRWV.US) also offers NVIDIA Corporation's Blackwell chips for artificial intelligence infrastructure. In July of this year, CoreWeave announced that it became the first cloud platform to fully launch NVIDIA Corporation RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell server instances. In addition to RTX PRO 6000, CoreWeave also offers the widest range of NVIDIA Corporation Blackwell infrastructure products in the market, including NVIDIA Corporation GB200 NVL72 systems and NVIDIA Corporation HGX B200 platforms.
