On December 17th, Minister of Industry and Information Technology Li Leyong met with the Chairman and CEO of American semiconductor company AMD, Su Zifeng, in Beijing to exchange views on strengthening cooperation in the digital economy and artificial intelligence fields.
Li Leyong stated that China has rich data resources and application scenarios, and digital technology, artificial intelligence, etc. are rapidly developing and empowering various industries. China will resolutely promote new industrialization, continuously expand high-level opening-up to provide more cooperation opportunities for foreign enterprises, including AMD. He hopes AMD will continue to deepen its presence in the Chinese market, innovate and grow together with the Chinese industrial chain, and achieve mutual benefit and win-win development.
Su Zifeng thanked the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology for its support for AMD's development in China, and expressed that they will continue to deepen their investment in China, strengthen cooperation, and promote industrial innovation and development together.
