The Swedish AI programming startup Lovable's valuation is approximately $6.6 billion in the latest round of financing. This represents a 266% increase in valuation from the previous round of financing, marking the end of a year of explosive growth for the company.
Some media reports, citing informed sources, revealed that the valuation of Vibe coding AI startup Lovable, focusing on the field of fully automated AI programming, skyrocketed to $6.6 billion in the latest round of financing, which included the well-known American venture capital firm Accel. This latest valuation also signifies a significant 266% increase from the previous round completed in July, marking a successful year for Lovable in terms of revenue generation and explosive valuation growth within this year, it has already become one of the most valuable startup companies in Europe. The so-called Vibe coding can be understood as a more aggressive and colloquial subset of the AI programming field (AI-assisted coding), emphasizing the use of the most pure human natural language prompts to allow AI large models to generate, modify, and debug code, shifting the human role from "writing code" to "describing goals, iterating feedback"; and even in some programming engineering practices emphasizing "running first, then discussing," with weaker requirements for line-by-line understanding and review of code. AI programming has become the trend in Silicon Valley and even the global technology industry. GitHub's Octoverse 2025 states that "generative AI has become the standard configuration for development," revealing that 80% of new developers use Copilot to assist them throughout their programming tasks within the first week after registration. The Stack Overflow 2025 survey indicates that as high as 50.6% of professional JAVA/Python developers use AI programming tools to assist in their daily workflow. Undoubtedly, the latest valuation of the AI startup company Lovable, based in Sweden, far exceeds the valuation of over $1.8 billion reached after the previous round of financing in July. This is Lovable's third round of financing in 2025, occurring in a year of rapid revenue and valuation growth, making it one of the most valuable startup companies in Europe. According to media reports, two insiders discussing private information requested anonymity. Forbes previously reported in November that this round of financing would bring the company's valuation to around $6 billion. The insiders revealed that the American venture capital leader Accel participated in this round of financing, which had not been disclosed by any media outlets before. It is known that Accel participated in Lovable's previous round of financing and has become one of the most critical Silicon Valley support forces in the new wave of AI startup companies. It has also participated in another AI programming startup company Cursor developer Anysphere, and a billion-dollar financing for AI application software company Thinking Machines led by former OpenAI executive Mira Murati. One of the insiders disclosed that Khosla Ventures, a venture capital firm from the United States, also participated in the latest round of financing. Founded in 2023, the AI startup company Lovable reported in November that its Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) scale is approximately $200 million less than a year ago, it had achieved $1 million ARR for the first time. The company raised approximately $200 million in the financing in July. Apart from Accel, other notable Silicon Valley investors at the time included Creandum, Klarna founder Sebastian Siemiatkowski, ElevenLabs founder Mati Stanezewski, and Synthesia co-founder Viktor Ripabeli. Lovable is an absolute leader in the European AI programming field, which has attracted significant interest from Silicon Valley venture capitalists in recent years. In the United States, Anysphere, the creator of AI programming assistant tool Cursor, raised $2.3 billion at a valuation of up to $29.3 billion in November. In September, Replit achieved a valuation of $3 billion after securing $250 million in financing, while Vercel raised $300 million at a valuation of approximately $9.3 billion. Lovable's operational headquarters are located in Stockholm, Sweden, with North American offices in Boston and San Francisco. Lovable's AI programming platform utilizes AI models developed by providers such as OpenAI and Anthropic, combined with the company's proprietary platform technology, to help users easily build and deploy applications and websites in a one-stop manner through text prompts without the need for any programming knowledge. The startup company recently stated in a declaration that as of November, it found that at least 100,000 IT projects were using its platform for rapid construction and deployment on a daily basis. The wave of AI applications has arrived! AI programming is accelerating penetration globally AI programming is undoubtedly the hottest subfield of technology in the global wave of AI applications. Whether in the B2B or B2C market, AI programming has become the trend, accelerating penetration globally, transitioning from "personal developer tools" to "enterprise standard configurations." The latest statistics from GitHub's Octoverse 2025 show that nearly 80% of new developers use GitHub Copilot within a week of registration, indicating that the new generation of IT developers naturally regard AI programming tools as part of their default toolchain. Microsoft revealed in its Q4 fiscal year 2025 performance call that the number of GitHub Copilot users has reached 20 million, with 90% of Fortune 100 companies actively using it, and a 75% increase in Copilot Enterprise customers, indicating rapid scaling and penetration of AI programming application software in both enterprise and consumer markets. Previously, leaders in cloud computing and search engines such as Google, AI application leader Applovin focusing on "AI + digital advertising," AI leader Palantir focusing on "AI + data analytics," and Cloudflare Inc. and software leaders such as Salesforce, focusing on "connectivity cloud," have all announced incredibly strong performance data and future performance outlooks since the beginning of this year. This not only signifies a strong demand for AI infrastructure like NVIDIA AI GPUs, but also a vigorous demand for enterprise AI application software that can significantly enhance operational efficiency, rapidly permeating various industries. From the current technological trajectory, the development direction of AI application software is focused on "generative AI application software" (such as DeepSee, ChatGPT, Sora, and the popular global AI application software Claude launched by Anthropic), as well as the transition from chat-box-style Q&A to "AI intelligent agents capable of independently performing various tedious and complex tasks" based on generative AI. Enterprises are pushing forward the widespread application of two core categories of AI application software - generative AI applications and AI intelligent agents, driven by urgent needs to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs. Among them, AI intelligent agents are likely to be the big trend in AI applications before 2030. The emergence of AI intelligent agents signifies the transformation of artificial intelligence from an information tool to a highly intelligent productivity tool. For the bullish narrative logic of the global stock market AI application sector, the sudden popularity of Google's Gemini3, launched by the cloud computing and search engine leader Google, has led to Google limiting usage for both free and subscription users, while cloud computing service companies such as Cloudflare Inc. focusing on "connectivity cloud" and software leaders like Salesforce, MongoDB, have recently announced impressive performance and outlook, signaling the active expansion and penetration of the latest AI applications in the enterprise/consumer markets, verifying the feasibility of AI application story and preheating the potential accelerating growth trend after 2026.
