On December 15th, the technical synergy development of "domestic chips + domestic models" reached an important milestone. While SenseTime (00020) released the industry's first multi-episode intelligent body Seko2.0, Cambricon Technologies (688256.SH) also announced the completion of the adaptation of SenseTime's self-developed Seko series, with this successful adaptation date being "Day 0". Cambricon had previously announced the successful adaptation on "Day 0" of only SenseTime's "RiRiXin" and DeepSeek, and the Seko series models are among the few in the industry to complete the adaptation of domestic chips.
Cambricon stated in its official WeChat account, "The adaptation with SenseTime in the multi-modal generation model is an important practice of domestic computational power base and domestic large-scale model collaborative innovation, allowing more developers and businesses to use multi-modal AI capabilities at a lower cost."
With the deepening development of large models technology, the demand for multi-modal generation models from users is also growing rapidly. In October of this year, Cambricon and SenseTime reached a strategic cooperation, focusing on the joint optimization of software and hardware, and jointly building an open and win-win industrial ecosystem. Cambricon's successful adaptation of SenseTime's "RiRiXin" on Day 0 means that on the day of the new model release, Cambricon's hardware chips have already completed the adaptation and support for SenseTime's RiRiXin multi-modal large model. This is a key indicator of the ability of domestic chips to support the ecosystem building of domestic AI companies and the speed of technical response.
The adaptation of Cambricon's domestic AI chips to the Seko series models of SenseTime reflects the close cooperation between domestic AI companies. The rapid adaptation of Cambricon's chips to SenseTime's multi-modal models means that the domestic AI ecosystem has extended from language models to more complex and challenging multi-modal generation fields. SenseTime's RiRiXin Seko series models, including SekoIDX, SekoTalk, and other image and video generation models, constitute the core technology base of the Seko2.0 intelligent body.

To efficiently unleash the potential of domestic computational power, SenseTime has designed a strong-compatible localization adaptation plugin model in its LightX2V framework, which can quickly adapt to various types of domestic hardware. At the same time, the Seko series models and the LightX2V framework have introduced hardware-friendly innovative mechanisms such as low-bit quantization, compressed communication, sparse attention, etc., achieving a significant improvement of over 3 times in reasoning performance.
After the adaptation is completed, the collaboration between the two parties will enter a deeper optimization stage. In the future, SenseTime and Cambricon will work together in multiple directions.
