The Ministry of Commerce mentioned that, in response to an application from the China Animal Agriculture Association, on June 17, 2024, the Ministry of Commerce initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imported pork and pork by-products originating from the European Union. The ruling report indicated that the relevant pork and pork by-products imported from the EU were being dumped, causing substantial harm to the domestic industry in China. On December 16, 2025, the Ministry of Commerce issued the final ruling announcement, determining a tax rate of 4.9%-19.8% for EU companies, and decided to implement the final anti-dumping measures starting from December 17, with a duration of 5 years.
