In January to November 2025, the national fixed asset investment (excluding rural households) was 44,403.5 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 2.6% (calculated on a comparable basis).
According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, from January to November 2025, the total fixed asset investment in the country (excluding farmers) was 44.4035 trillion yuan, a decrease of 2.6% compared to the previous year (calculated using comparable calibers). Among them, private fixed asset investment decreased by 5.3% year-on-year. In terms of month-on-month comparison, fixed asset investment in November (excluding farmers) decreased by 1.03%.
Looking at the different industries, investment in the primary industry was 877 billion yuan, an increase of 2.7% year-on-year; investment in the secondary industry was 16.2243 trillion yuan, an increase of 3.9%; and investment in the tertiary industry was 27.3022 trillion yuan, a decrease of 6.3%.
In the secondary industry, industrial investment increased by 4.0% year-on-year. Among them, investment in mining increased by 4.0%, investment in manufacturing increased by 1.9%, and investment in electricity, heat, gas, and water production and supply increased by 10.7%.
In the tertiary industry, infrastructure investment (excluding electricity, heat, gas, and water production and supply) decreased by 1.1% year-on-year. Among them, investment in pipeline transportation increased by 16.8%, investment in water transportation increased by 8.9%, and investment in railway transportation increased by 2.7%.
In terms of regions, investment in the eastern region decreased by 6.6% year-on-year, investment in the central region decreased by 1.7%, investment in the western region decreased by 0.2%, and investment in the northeastern region decreased by 14.0%.
In terms of registration types, fixed asset investment of domestic enterprises decreased by 2.6% year-on-year, investment of enterprises from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan decreased by 2.2%, and investment of foreign enterprises decreased by 14.1%.
