On the news front, Q TECH announced that in November, the sales volume of mobile camera modules was 38.053 million, a decrease of 13.6% compared to the previous month and a decrease of 5.6% year-on-year. The total sales volume of camera modules was 41.755 million, a decrease of 11.9% compared to the previous month and an increase of 0.4% year-on-year. The sales volume of fingerprint recognition modules totaled 17.795 million, a decrease of 3.4% compared to the previous month and a decrease of 8.8% year-on-year.
The announcement stated that the decrease in sales volume of camera modules was mainly due to the impact of customer project cycles and seasonal factors. In other areas, the sales volume of camera modules has significantly increased year-on-year, mainly due to the increasing popularity of new electronic products such as handheld imaging devices among consumers, and the increasing number of camera modules used in smart driving solutions. Therefore, the sales volume of camera modules used in the IoT and smart automotive fields has also significantly increased year-on-year.
