Weichai Power (02338) announced that in accordance with relevant Chinese laws and regulations and the latest revision of the "Articles of Association", in order to improve the company's governance structure and ensure the normative operation of the board of directors, at the employee representative congress (group) meeting held by the company on December 4, 2025, Mr. Huang Weibiao, an executive director of the company, was elected as an employee representative director. His term will start from December 4, 2025 and continue until the end of the shareholders' annual general meeting for the year ending December 31, 2026, when the current board's term expires. After the above election, Mr. Huang Weibiao will serve as an employee representative director of the company (no longer as an executive director of the company) and will continue to serve as a member of the company's board's Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Committee.
