ROBOSENSE (02498) EM4 has obtained exclusive designated positioning from GAC Gonow and is the first to equip digital radar with over 500 lines for flying car GOVY AirCab.
On December 3rd, RoboSense and Guangdong Gaoyuan Technology Co., Ltd. announced that they have reached a cooperation agreement.
On December 3, 2025, RoboSense (02498) and Guangdong Gaoyu Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Gaoyu") announced a designated cooperation agreement. RoboSense's EM4 digital laser radar with over 500 lines will be used as the core perception component, mounted on Gaoyu's multi-rotor product GOVY AirCab, providing solid support for the intelligent upgrade of flying cars with outstanding perception performance and reliability.
This cooperation not only marks the successful application of RoboSense's automotive-grade digital laser radar technology in the low-altitude flying field, making EM4 the first domestic digital laser radar to enter aviation-grade applications, but also sets a good start for the demonstration operation and commercialization of low-altitude flying products.
RoboSense CEO Mark Qiu said, "Currently, the technological innovation and commercial application of China's low-altitude industry are facing a historic opportunity. Gaoyu has leading technical strength in the low-altitude flight field, injecting strong growth momentum into the industry's vigorous development. RoboSense, with its leading-edge digital laser radar technology, will provide strong perception support for Gaoyu's flying products to achieve L4 level autonomous driving, jointly promoting the maturity and prosperity of low-altitude travel technology."
Dr. Su Qingpeng, founder and chairman of Gaoyu, said, "In the '14th Five-Year Plan', low-altitude economy has become a typical representative of a national strategic emerging industry and a new quality productivity. With its profound expertise in vehicle development, manufacturing, and supply chain management, Gaoyu bears the mission of building a one-stop, trustworthy smart low-altitude travel ecosystem. The outstanding performance of RoboSense's automotive-grade digital laser radar in terms of performance and reliability will help Gaoyu achieve demonstration operation and mass production first, jointly creating a new ecosystem for land-air dimensional travel."
Gaoyu Technology is a low-altitude travel technology ecosystem enterprise fully supported by the Guangzhou Automobile Group, with core advantages of "self-developed key core technologies + mature operation platforms + automotive industry chain ecosystem". It has developed multiple configurations of GOVY AirCab, GOVY AirCar, and GOVY AirJet. Among them, GOVY AirCab is precisely tailored for urban shuttle and tourism applications. This product is equipped with an L4 level autonomous driving system, integrating EM4 high-density digital laser radar and dual heteromorphic vision cameras, combined with a 500 TOPS high-performance chip, enabling precise identification of small drones and birds intruding from 200 meters away, as well as high-voltage lines from 150 meters away, perceiving the three-dimensional movements of targets in real-time, predicting trajectories, and quickly planning obstacle avoidance routes. Currently, the 3000th flight test of GOVY AirCab has been completed, and airworthiness certification has entered the "deep water area", soon to enter the mass production phase.
RoboSense leads the industry into the digital era with its self-developed stack chip technology. Currently, it has built an excellent and reliable digital laser radar product matrix including EM4, widely applied in L2 to L4 autonomous driving and Siasun Robot & Automation fields. EM4, based on the SPAD-SoC and VCSEL digital architecture, is currently the industry's strongest digital main laser radar in ranging capability, capable of accurately identifying distant small obstacles, greatly empowering GOVY AirCab's reaction performance when encountering obstacles such as small drones, birds, and high-voltage lines during low-altitude flight, continuously and stably completing flight tasks, and achieving safe landing.
As China's low-altitude economy accelerates from technological R&D to scene landing, the trillion-dollar market landscape is gradually opening up. RoboSense and Gaoyu are advancing hand in hand, using leading technological products to jointly promote the realization of a "highly safe, large-scale" industrialization path for the low-altitude economy, injecting continuous innovation into China's three-dimensional transportation transformation.
