TCL ELECTRONICS (01070) rose nearly 6% in early trading, rising 5.32% to HK$10.69 as of the time of writing, with a turnover of HK$66.5979 million. On the news front, Thunderbird Innovation recently completed a round C financing in the hundreds of millions, setting a record for the highest single financing amount in the domestic AI+AR glasses field in 2025. The proceeds from this financing will be used to accelerate the technological research and development and ecological construction of AI+AR glasses, focusing on core AI+AR technology research and development (near-eye display, AI algorithms, multimodal interaction), further consolidating and expanding Thunderbird Innovation's leading position in the global consumer-level AI+AR glasses market and expanding global market share. Guotai Junan previously pointed out that Thunderbird Innovation, incubated by TCL ELECTRONICS, has a core team from TCL, DJI, Meta, and ByteDance, with obvious innovation advantages. The bank believes that considering TCL ELECTRONICS' overall entry into the profitability recovery channel, and the expected market share of Thunderbird Innovation, in which the company holds a 11.5% stake, leading in the AI glasses business, it is expected to benefit fully from the explosion of the AI industry.
