Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co. (HPE.US) and NVIDIA Corporation (NVDA.US) announced on Monday that they are expanding their partnership to further promote artificial intelligence technology in enterprise businesses globally. The two companies will jointly establish the EU's first "AI Factory Lab" in Grenoble, France, providing an environment for businesses to test, optimize, and validate AI workloads, helping customers accelerate the deployment of AI on a secure, controllable, and scalable basis. NVIDIA Corporation founder and CEO Jensen Huang stated that every country and enterprise needs to have the capability to produce their own intelligence. He emphasized that data centers are transforming into "AI factories," becoming the intelligent manufacturing centers of the new industrial revolution. By integrating NVIDIA Corporation's full-stack accelerated computing capabilities and Spectrum-X Ethernet network on the HPE platform, the two companies are creating a template for "sovereign AI." Huang highlighted that the new AI Factory Lab will serve as a "foundry," helping companies efficiently convert data into value in a secure manner. HPE President and CEO Antonio Neri stated that HPE and NVIDIA Corporation are providing scalable and deployable AI factory infrastructure for businesses of all sizes, introducing new technological innovations that cover a wider range of workloads. He noted that the two companies are demonstrating their complementary advantages in full-stack AI infrastructure, enabling businesses to achieve better performance and more flexible AI capabilities. Furthermore, HPE announced a partnership with Carbon3.ai to establish a "Private AI Lab" in London, further accelerating the adoption of artificial intelligence by UK businesses. On the same day, HPE also announced the selection of cybersecurity company CrowdStrike (CRWD.US) to join its "HPE Unleash AI" partner program, strengthening the security and ecosystem of enterprise AI systems. Overall, as global competition for artificial intelligence infrastructure accelerates, the further collaboration between HPE and NVIDIA Corporation not only helps promote a wider application of AI in enterprise businesses but also signifies a new direction in infrastructure under the trends of global data trust and sovereignty. The establishment of the labs in France and the UK marks the crucial stage where enterprise AI development is transitioning from concept to production, with countries and businesses rapidly increasing their demand for a controllable and scalable AI production system.
