CHINA PPT INV (00736) announced on December 1, 2025, that the company has entered into a non-legally binding terms list with Kimber Labs Inc. (operating under the name Plume) regarding a potential tokenization project for Real World Assets (RWA). According to the terms list, the company's main responsibility is to recommend and refer eligible RWA and potential asset issuers to Kimber Labs for exploring the tokenization and revenue distribution of RWAs on-chain, including but not limited to new energy assets, housing assets, and intellectual property assets. Kimber Labs will provide the necessary infrastructure, technical interfaces, and ecosystem resources to tokenize and deploy the recommended assets on-chain. Depending on the type of asset and the jurisdiction of the issuer, support may be provided directly through Kimber Labs' internal capabilities or through the introduction of qualified third-party tokenization agents. Entering into the terms list aligns with the company's strategic plan to enter the RWA field. Through complementing and cooperating with the resources of Kimber Labs, the company can enhance its professional capabilities and project execution efficiency in the RWA field. Given the increasing acceptance of digital assets by global institutions, the company believes that the RWA business has growth potential, and RWA financing will become one of the main sources of financing. According to a market report released by Research and Markets in September 2025, the RWA tokenization market is expected to reach $1.07 billion by 2029, with a compound annual growth rate of 12.5%. Additionally, Hong Kong, China is promoting the development of cryptocurrency applications. On August 28, 2024, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority held the Ensemble project sandbox launch ceremony and introduced four major tokenization asset use case themes (covering (i) fixed income and investment funds; (ii) liquidity management; (iii) green and sustainable finance; (iv) trade and supply chain finance), marking an important step in the financial industry's practical application of tokenization technology. With these factors in mind, the board of directors has started to develop new businesses in providing services related to RWAs. The board believes that through potential partnerships, the company can accelerate its involvement in the digital assets and Web3 industry.
