China Shenhua Energy (601088.SH): The No. 3 unit of the Beihai Phase II has passed the 168-hour trial run.

China Shenhua (601088.SH) issued an announcement, recently, the 3rd unit of the second phase expansion project of Guodian Guangtou Beihai Power Generation Co., Ltd., a subsidiary controlled by the company holding about 52% of the shares, has successfully passed the 168-hour trial operation and has been handed over for commercial operation.

China Shenhua Energy (601088.SH) announced that recently, its subsidiary Guangdong Energy Guangzhou North Sea Power Generation Co., Ltd. Phase II expansion project ("Beihai Phase II")'s Unit 3, in which the company holds approximately 52% of the shares, has successfully completed the 168-hour trial operation and has been handed over for commercial operation. Currently, the construction of Unit 4 of Beihai Phase II is progressing steadily, with plans for it to be operational by December 2025. Once Beihai Phase II is fully operational, it will further optimize the regional power supply structure, improve the stability of the power grid, effectively meet the increasing demand for medium to long term loads in the region, and provide important support for the construction of the new land-sea channel in the western region of China and the development of the regional economy and society.
