Macau Monetary Authority: Macau banks' funding costs generally declined in the third quarter. As of the end of September, the Macau dollar composite interest rate was 1.21%.

The statistics released by the Monetary Authority of Macau showed that the funding costs of Macau banks in the third quarter of 2025 generally decreased. As of the end of September 2025, the composite interest rates for Macau Dollar and Hong Kong Dollar decreased by 16 basis points and 10 basis points respectively to 1.21% and 2.32% from 1.37% and 2.42% at the end of June 2025. The composite interest rate of Macau is the weighted average interest rate of all interest-bearing liabilities and non-interest-bearing demand deposits on the balance sheet of Macau banks.
