Cambridge Technology (06166) rose by over 6% again, as of the time of writing, it has increased by 6.2%, reaching 83.95 Hong Kong dollars, with a turnover of 1.28 billion Hong Kong dollars.
Cig Shanghai (06166) rose by more than 6%, rising by 6.2% as of the close of the market to HK$83.95, with a turnover of HK$1.28 billion.
On the news front, Cig Shanghai disclosed in its investor relations activities records that it holds an optimistic outlook on the overall business situation for the fourth quarter and next year, expecting growth to continue. In terms of technology, Cig Shanghai has fully embraced silicon photonics solutions. The company stated that its optical modules with specifications of 800G and above "basically all adopt silicon photonics solutions", and pointed out that this is not only a long-term industry technology layout, but also an active strategy to address the limited supply of EML components. This choice is seen by the company as an "important development opportunity". The mass shipment of 1.6T is expected to be achieved in the first quarter of 2026.
