China Aluminum International (601068.SH) announced that on November 27, 2025, its controlling subsidiary Shenyang Aluminum Magnesium Design Institute Co., Ltd. (referred to as Shenyang Institute) formed a consortium with China Nonferrous Metal Industry's Sixth Metallurgical Construction Co., Ltd. (a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, referred to as Six Metallurgy), Seventh Metallurgical Installation Engineering Co., Ltd. (referred to as Seventh Metallurgy), Yunnan Jian Investment Machinery Manufacturing Installation Engineering Co., Ltd. (referred to as Yunnan Jian Investment Machinery), and China Minmetals Twenty-Three Metallurgical Construction Group Co., Ltd. (referred to as Twenty-Three Metallurgy), to win the bid for the "large-for-small" upgrade and renovation project of the Qingtongxia electrolytic cell, with a total contract price of 2.909 billion yuan.
