On November 25th, the Ministry of Commerce released the investment cooperation situation between China and countries participating in the Belt and Road Initiative from January to October 2025. The data shows that from January to October, Chinese enterprises made non-financial direct investments of 234.15 billion RMB in Belt and Road countries, an increase of 22.3% year-on-year (equivalent to 32.71 billion USD, an increase of 21.4%).
In terms of overseas contracting projects, Chinese enterprises signed new contracts worth 1.33381 trillion RMB in Belt and Road countries, a year-on-year increase of 24.4% (equivalent to 186.33 billion USD, an increase of 23.5%); with a completed turnover of 804.24 billion RMB, an increase of 9.4% (equivalent to 112.35 billion USD, an increase of 8.6%).
