MMG (01208) has extended the final deadline for the completion conditions of the acquisition of the nickel business of English-American Resources to June 30, 2026.

MMG (01208) announced that the completion of the acquisition of the nickel business of Anglo American Resources is subject to certain conditions precedent being met or waived before it can take effect, including: obtaining merger control approvals in multiple jurisdictions; acceptance of the declaration relating to the acquisition by the National Development and Reform Commission of the People's Republic of China (NDRC); and acceptance of the declaration relating to the acquisition by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China (MOFCOM). As all other conditions have been satisfied, the European Commission has extended its review to the second phase review. The time required for the European Commission to complete the review has not yet been determined. According to the Share Purchase Agreement, the final deadline for satisfying the conditions is November 18, 2025 (Final Deadline). The parties have agreed to extend the Final Deadline to June 30, 2026. The company will continue to work with Anglo American Resources Group and the European Commission to assist in the review process.
