Shandong Hi-Speed Road & Bridge Group (000498.SZ) announced that the company's subsidiary Shandong Provincial Road and Bridge Group Co., Ltd. and other controlling subsidiaries of the company intend to participate in the bidding for the construction of the Yiyuan to Zoucheng section of Weifang to Zoucheng Expressway through a bidding scheme combining construction and investment. According to the bidding plan released by the tenderer, the estimated contract amount for sections one to three of this project is 10.2 billion yuan. According to the bidding documents of this project, the corresponding commitment investment amount from each participating subsidiary of the company does not exceed 1.457 billion yuan, and the final construction volume to be undertaken will be determined by the winning bid amount, while the final contribution amount will be determined at no less than 1/7 of the winning bid price. The total length of the project route is 176.031 kilometers, with an existing expressway section of 40.041 kilometers and a new section of 135.99 kilometers. The mainline of the new section is built according to the standard of a two-way four-lane expressway with a design speed of 120 kilometers per hour. The overall roadbed width is 27.0 meters and the separate roadbed width is 13.25 meters. The new section includes 3 extra-large bridges, 39 large bridges, 34 medium bridges, 2 small bridges, 151 culverts, 3 tunnels, 13 interchanges (including 6 hub interchanges), 36 separate interchanges, 100 access roads, 102 pedestrian bridges, 3 service areas, 3 maintenance areas, 1 monitoring and communication sub-center, 1 bridge and tunnel maintenance station, 1 bridge and tunnel monitoring and communication station, and 7 toll booths. The scope of the bidding includes the construction preparation, construction, completion acceptance, and defect liability period stages of roadbed, pavement, bridge and culvert, tunnel, intersecting, drainage, protection, traffic safety facilities, environmental protection, buried pipeline, temporary works, modification works, toll plaza, as well as the construction of earthworks and roads in various functional areas. The bidding includes sections one to three of the construction, with section one being 44.851 km, section two being 50.769 km, and section three being 40.37 km.
