According to the Ministry of Commerce, from January to October 2025, a total of 53,782 new foreign-invested enterprises were established nationwide, an increase of 14.7% year-on-year.
According to the Ministry of Commerce, from January to October 2025, there were 53,782 newly established foreign-invested enterprises nationwide, an increase of 14.7% year-on-year; the actual use of foreign capital was 621.93 billion yuan, a decrease of 10.3% year-on-year. In terms of industries, the actual use of foreign capital in the manufacturing industry was 161.91 billion yuan, and in the service industry it was 445.82 billion yuan. The actual use of foreign capital in high-tech industries was 192.52 billion yuan, with the e-commerce services industry, medical equipment and instrument manufacturing industry, and aerospace equipment manufacturing industry witnessing growth of 173.1%, 41.4% and 40.6% respectively. In terms of sources, actual investments from the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland in China increased by 48.7%, 17.1%, and 13.2% respectively (including data from free trade zones).
