China Merchants Futures released a research report stating that in November, silicon wafers and battery wafers production decreased by 4.9% and 1.0% respectively compared to October. In September, the newly installed photovoltaic capacity was 9.66GW, a year-on-year decrease of 53.8% and a month-on-month decrease of 31.25%. The implementation of the "Document 136" mechanism has been intensively carried out in various provinces, and it is expected that the growth of photovoltaic installations in China in the fourth quarter will face pressure.
In addition, it was recently stated by Liu Hanyuan of Tongwei that the silicon material storage and procurement will not trigger antitrust issues. Nanhua Futures released a research report stating that in terms of polycrystalline silicon, the current market's short-term trading focuses on the establishment of the storage platform in November, with a subsequent shift to the expected game of "concentration cancellation of warehouse receipts in November." Attention should also be paid to the disruption of market sentiment by various types of misinformation related to policy or node vacuum periods.
